This is throat ease crafted with Organic Echinacea, Organic Licorice Root, Wild Cherry Bark, Organic Olive Leaf and Organic Sage extracted in Non GMO Vegetable Glycerin (coconut derived).
Let's meet the plants! Keep in mind, this is just information about the plants used in this blend- pulled from generational and traditional use as well as modern studies.
Echinacea is probably the most well known herb in this blend. Most folks use it for the immune system, and while it has been shown to be powerful immune support, it really shouldn't be taken for extended periods and I've found it's much more effective against bacteria (infections etc) which makes it a perfect addition to this throat spray. Next up is Licorice Root. Gentle, powerful and effective are the three words that come to mind about this plant. Wonderful for all ages (however should be avoided during pregnancy or folks that deal with high blood pressure). Its been traditionally used to soothe a sore throat, coughs as well as support the immune system. It's a very soothing, calming herb. Wild Cherry Bark is another very well known herb that's been used for ages for sore throats and coughs. It has been shown to have some cough suppressing actions, so if your cough is productive we don't want to suppress, if your cough is more from dry tissue irritation and quite spasmodic this is the plant for you! Olive Leaf is another plant ally that is wonderful for immune support and studies have shown to be antibacterial (a great natural antibiotic) antiviral, antimicrobial and more. It is one of my favorite plant allies for winter ailments. Last up we have Sage! Often over looked but if you've ever had a sore throat and a cup of sage tea, you know how incredibly fast it works to soothe inflammation and irritation. One of the oldest sore throat remedies around ❤
